We’re commemorating this Presidents’ Day with works depicting Abraham Lincoln—who’s all the rage these days—and George Washington.

Mervin Jules’s woodcut Lincoln, 1962, is one of 587 works on paper gifted to the Gallery by Frederic P. Norton. John Wesley’s painting George Washington and Three Indians, 1963, will be featured in the upcoming exhibition Sweet Dreams, Baby! Life of Pop, London to Warhol, opening May 31.
